Fusion’s expertise isn’t just in demand in the UK, recently we were called upon to work on a project at the new ‘PSG Experience’ at world-renown Paris Saint-Germain Football Club in France. We weren’t alone in our international efforts, and worked alongside UK designers, Mather & Co, software engineers, Fuzzy Duck, and fit-out company, Workhaus Projects.
We had a very short time frame in which to install the necessary cabling, bracketry lighting and AV hardware, for this immersive experience, meaning we had to despatch a team of six to achieve the tight deadline.
The project incorporated sound, lighting and AV, utilising some impressive hardware and creating experiences in three parts: the PSG Stadium Tour: A Reinvented Stadium Visit, History Room and PSG VR Arcade. It uses state-of-the-art projection and a surround sound design, using specialist equipment provided by Fusion. The project utilised a range of projectors and screens to maximum immersive effect and a six-screen large scale audio-visual experience is a real highlight.
- 13 x Epson EB-L1100U laser projectors
- 9 x 7m projection screens
- 3 x 65” screens
- 2 x 55” touch screens
PSG’s Director of Merchandising and Brand Diversification, Fabien Allègre, said of the project:
“In line with the Club's ambition, we took our time to build a project that exceeds their expectations, in order to offer an interactive and immersive experience that is the only one of its kind in the world. We want to make the Parc des Princes a must for tourists in Paris, as well as the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre.”
