Our recent lighting installation at the Battle of Britain Memorial has recently been opened by Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
The Queen opened “The Wing”, which is the new 3.5 million visitor and education centre in Capel-Le-Ferne near Folkestone.
We were heavily involved with this remarkable project and our contribution to it consisted of a dramatic DMX and DALI show controlled lighting system that reacts with the AV show to create an immersive experience of a dogfight with the world famous Spitfire.
We installed over 120m of white and red LED strip around the perimeter of the exhibition, lit up all the graphic light boxes and mounted many lengths of track lighting to illuminate certain interesting WW2 objects.
This large variety of luminaires smoothly fades down for the ‘high octane’ dogfight show.
