Horse racing season is upon us and with Newmarket racecourse, the home of horse racing, opening up its gates this month, there has never been a better time to take a trip to Newmarket. The National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art opened its doors to visitors for the first time in 2016 and has been a popular tourist attraction ever since. The team at Fusion LX were asked to create a stunning visual experience for the heritage centre and we were happy to oblige.
We were responsible for installing 300 light fittings, 35 screens ranging from a standard 15” to a mammoth 84”, along with 3 laser projectors. These elements helped to create an immersive experience and bring the heritage centre’s highlights to life. These highlights include a short film looking at significant moments of the sport throughout history, the oldest racing trophies in the country and a copy of the first ever printed racing results from 1654.
At Fusion LX we take the time to understand what our clients are trying to achieve and design innovative ways to help reach their vision, creating a totally immersive customer experience in the process. We have years of experience in the museum and heritage industry.
